Most Amateur Blogs Have The Capability To Rake In $5,000 Monthly!

Now, to call just whatever you see a member of the amateur blogs community usually is an insult in the olden days (like 2 years ago). People have stopped laughing and turned a serious face when you see these blogs.

The reason behind this amazing change and phenomenon is the level of sincerity and candid honesty that all amateur blogs possess. If you don't already notice this it is called a very sensible gain of trust.

You see, blogs can only go so far as to help you express your business or rather personal dealings from a day to day basis. Today, even a 17 year old girl can be picked by a multinational company and be paid $5,000 monthly on a consistent basis just to blog!

How outrageous you say. Yet this is the col hard truth whether you believe it or not. People flock to these amateur blogs in droves often times because:

  • Amateur Bloggers Do Not Lie. In other words they do not live or blog by any code except their own code. A code of telling the whole truth about how they really feel to the world.
  • An Element Of Curiousity. Like it or not why do you think people like watching "fear factor" or "survivor" on the TV? Every person acts differently and this drives an enormous amount of curiosity among audiences globally.
  • No Hidden Agenda. Thought many new blogs that are successful today earn a nice income just from blogging alone, they always started out as an honest venture. A personal contribution to society without expecting anything or any reward in return.

  • Hence, if you are looking into some amateur blogs online, try noticing these elements in just about all your observations and you will be able to learn something useful. Timeless gems of lessons to be learned about making the big money online.

    Blogging Tips For Beginners

    Publicado

    By Sokunle O. Sonuga

I am still on the issue of blogging and the difficulty in getting your blog seen by the outside world. That reminds me of a story recorded in three of the gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke. I particularly like St. Marks's version of the incident. It is more detailed than the other versions. It's not important whether you believe the story or not, (I do). It's the principle being taught in the story that is important.

During the time of Jesus Christ, there was a blind beggar in Jericho named Bartimeus who always sat by the side of the road begging. The bible records that when Bartimeus heard that Jesus Christ was approaching Jericho on a particular day he started calling out to him in a loud voice for help. The bible records further that the people around him urged him to keep quiet but the more they urged him the louder Bartimeus shouted. Eventually, Jesus Christ heard him shouting and asked him to be brought up to him. According to St. Mark, the irony of the situation is that it was the same people who were urging him to keep quiet that helped him to his feet and took him to Jesus Christ who restored his sight.

One of the principles to be learned here is that Bartimeus was not the only person who needed help from Jesus Christ on that day but it was his tenacity that got him what he wanted. The same principle can be applied to blogging. Agreed, you are not the only blogger out there but you could make a commitment to post a blog every single day, read as many blogs on your chosen blog topic with a view to posting as many sensible comments as possible. That is the method I have decided to adopt and I am certain that I will be noticed.

More on blogs, did you know that out of the millions of blogs out there less than half are in English and a significant number are mere splogs. One more thing to take into consideration is the fact that there are countless subject-matters on which blogs are written. Your competitors would only be among those writing on the same subject matter you have chosen. To make things sound even better, reading their blogs would give you an insight into what sub-topics they are not covering and a fresh angle from which you can approach the subject-matter.

Let us consider the following in summary, how many people post a blog every single day on a particular topic? How many of these people who post a blog every single day on a particular topic read other people's blogs and post comments? How may sub-topics on a particular subject-matter are being covered by these bloggers? Finally, what fresh angle can you approach the subject matter of your blog from? I'm sure that if you consider all these the number of people whose blogs will be on all fours with yours will greatly reduce and that should make you feel better about blogging and getting noticed.

Your Blog - Your Stage - Your Choice

    Publicado

    By Thomas Sinfield

"In this concert of life, choose your song and don't stop playing it."

There are so many quotes similar to this one that talk about the world being your stage to the world and encouraging you to find your place, sing your song, and never give up.

I love how this quote is made up by 3 sections:

    1. In this concert of life

    2. Choose your song

    3. Don't stop playing

These 3 keys are major contributing factors to whether you will succeed in life. However I believe that we can also carry these 3 keys over to our blog, and if we are able to catch a hold of what this quote is telling us, I honestly believe that we can be as successful as we desire. So let's have a look at each one in a little bit of depth.

    In This Concert of Life

What this is trying to tell us, is that in the scope of our life - or in our case blogging, there will always be a crowd of people watching us, just like a concert. Some will be there to cheer you one, others there just waiting for you to make a mistake, and still others who are just checking you out. What we need to realize is the awesome privilege and responsibility that we have of entertaining, educating and inspiring our crowd.

I mean, we may have other bloggers that are part of our crowd who look up to us. Who aspire to be us. They may be hanging on every word we write. What are we doing with this great privilege? Are we taking it as an opportunity to impart knowledge, or are we just taking advantage of them? Just a thought.

    Here is a question.

Do you know who your crowd is? Do you know what they like? Do you know why they take the time to visit your blog?

I know my crowd. Cause I planned for them from the start. I know my crowd are fellow bloggers. I know they are keen to learn more about blogging and want to know knew ways to build and grow their blogs. I know that although they they all write on different topics they all share a common interest in wanting to share what they have with others.

I know my crowd because I created my blog especially for this crowd. I created it because they are what I am passionate about. That is getting into the next point so let me just ask you one last time, 'Do You know your crowd?'

    Choose Your Song

Think about the tv show Idol for a second. Whether if be American Idol, Australian Idol, Indian Idol or where ever. If you have ever watched the show you will know that there are some fantastic singers that didn't make it through because of bad song choice, and there were some not-so-good singers that were given the chance because they knew how to choose a song that suited their voice. It's the same with blogging.

As a blogger you should know you blogging range, just as a singer can determine what notes he/she can and cannot hit.

A bloggers song is his blog. which is made up of:

    * The Blogs Niche

    * Bloggers Knowledge and Expertise Levels

    * Your Blogging Voice

All three parts are equally important and the blog will only ever be as strong as the weakest of these parts. So lets just have a quick look at each one.

    1. The Blogs Niche

It is important for long-term sustainability that the blogs niche be a topic that the author enjoys. There is nothing worse than seeing a singer that does not connect with the song they are singing. It is as equally disappointing seeing bloggers writing about something that is of no interest to them - you can tell from a mile away.

    2. Bloggers Knowledge and Expertise Levels

Don't ever let lack of knowledge or expertise ever stop you from believing that you can blog successfully. I have seen it time and again, bloggers that started blogging on a topic that interesting yet quite new to them, and they have seen phenomenal growth.Readers don't want experts. If they did they would be looking in journal magazines. The majority of readers just want learn that bit more than they already know, with a side plate of entertainment. All I will say is let your readers know your limits. If you are just beginning in internet marketing and you have an internet marketing blog, let them know, but also invite them along on your journey through the world of internet marketing. Put a positive spin on your lack of knowledge.

    3. Your Blogging Voice

This is what separates you from every other blogger. Just as everyone has a different voice naturally, we all have a different blogging voice. Your voice is the way you talk. The way you structure your posts. Are they conversational or one sided? Are they long and detailed or short and to the point? Your voice is humor - or lack of it. Don't copy someone else's, don't be jealous of other bloggers voices. Instead focus on developing yours, because that is something that no one can ever take away from you, and it is what separates you from the millions of other bloggers out there.

Find a nice balance of these three points and select a song that not only can you sing, but one that will make people drop what they are doing just to listen to what you have to say.

    Don't Stop Playing

Now that you have realized you have a crowd and picked a song that suits your style perfectly - which obviously the crowd love because you thought of them right?. Well now you have all of that, why would you ever want to stop?

You are in the spotlight and it's time to shine. This is your moment where the world is watching, will you take a hold of the opportunity and run with it or will you hide behind the curtain with stage fright?

Don't stop playing. Don't ever give up!

How To Make Money Online With A BLOG And Google

If you conduct any business online or maintain a website to compliment your offline business, then blogging is quickly becoming a mandatory part of your future. And if you are not currently blogging, chances are after realizing the potential of these traffic-enhancing goldmines, you soon will be! Blogs, derived from the words "web log" were originally thought of as simply online diaries a place for people to record their thoughts and inspirations. At first, no one took blogging very seriously and these collections of online thoughts were simply passed off by many as hobbies or creative outlets and nothing more. But then Google came along and started to recognize the unique and original content that these trite little sites presented and the rules of the game suddenly changed. After all, unique content is what makes the Google world go round, and what better way to command the attention of Google than by creating a dynamic environment with content that is solely your own. At this stage, a whole new SEO world emerged and in the process, brought with it traffic opportunities like never before. People began blogging on more than what they had for dinner last night. They started to blog about new products, exciting travel adventures and all things related to online commerce. The evolution quickly continued and today, with RSS feeds, sites like pingoat.com and many other content clearinghouses, blogging is big business and not to be overlooked by hungry entrepreneurs looking to establish a web presence. What currently makes blogging so attractive is the sheer speed with which blogs and blog posts are able to get indexed in the search engines. It is a simple matter of static versus dynamic and the search engines love the dynamic. Let's take two different scenarios to see how traditional websites and blogs differ in their index-ability: Scenario One: One person creates a website to advertise gardening products and services. Each page of the site contains the traditional information about the company; it's founders, the services they offer and the products they sell. Maybe, at best, the site has articles and content that is updated with some small frequency that are relevant to the avid gardener. When visitors arrive at the site, they have the option of signing up for the company newsletter and receiving valuable tips and new offerings. In this scenario, the Webmaster or business owner will need to tend to many SEO related tasks in order to get and maintain high search engine ranking for a tight list of selected keywords related to the gardening niche. Not only will this activity require great skill, it will also involve many hours to achieve the intended results. Scenario Two: The same business owner as above also creates a blog to supplement their company website. Now, instead of focusing on simply one set of tightly selected keywords, the blog itself remains a broad overview of the gardening niche, while each individual post reflects a drilled down topic within that same niche. So when the business owner writes a blog post about the benefits of "organic vegetable gardening in backyard containers," this individual post becomes a keyword rich, targeted wonder and when indexed by the search engines has a far greater opportunity to bringing highly targeted traffic to the blog based upon that single post. Through time, the blog expands with many similar posts that are targeted to sub niches within the broader gardening niche and can even be categorized from inside the blog structure itself. What has now been created in Google's eyes is an extremely dynamic, naturally evolving site that is content rich and niche specific. When properly constructed and promoted, each time the business owner posts to the blog, that individual post can get indexed in anywhere from two to twenty four hours on average. This opportunity is far greater than any options available at the static website. Additionally, when the business owner endeavors to have a visitor signup for a newsletter, further segmenting can occur and subscriber lists can be refined and targeted. And because the blog is the front-end showcase to the original website, each blog post has the opportunity to link back to specific and relevant products at the main site. When properly structured, blogs are the biggest SEO asset to a website that currently exists. The wise business owner will recognize these benefits and when implemented, will enjoy many opportunities that do not currently exist with traditional websites alone.

What does it take to be a successful blogger?

    Publicado

    by Sandy Cosser

There are an awful lot of blogs currently residing in cyberspace, and more are added every day. It takes a certain amount of courage to create a blog of your own. First, you have to have something to say. Second, you have to be reasonably sure that other people will want to hear it. Third, you need to be confident in your ability to present your ideas in a coherent and entertaining manner. Fourth, you need to be able to handle criticism and rejection without stooping to name calling and puerile retorts.

Many things contribute to the success of a blog, not least of which are long hours and hard work. When asked what they think the most important trait of a successful blog is, professional bloggers (who seldom agree on the colour of the sky) are unanimous in their reply â€" passion.

Passion will carry you through the initial stages of your blog, when you’re still trying to build an online presence and attract readers. It’ll sustain you years down the line, when motivation and fresh content are hard to come by. It’ll even, to a degree, mask dodgy grammar and a barely average writing ability. The fantastic thing about passion is that you can’t hide it; it’s self-evident and highly infectious. Your passion ignites passion in others; it stimulates interest and spreads like wildfire, which is exactly what you want.

Following hot on passion’s heels is an intense desire to communicate. No one starts a blog and then hopes that it’ll pass unnoticed. Successful bloggers build communities of similar-minded people around them. They interact and comment on other niche posts and invite people to express their opinions via comments and emails. Building relationships is the cornerstone of blogging, which at its core, is what communication is all about.

A questioning mind also plays a pivotal role in the success of your blog. Good blogs aren’t merely opinion pieces or virtual soap-boxes for their writers. Your opinion counts, but only if your reasoning is sound. Successful bloggers research their topics to provide content that has value for their readers. They don’t spout theories cobbled together from half-truths and hearsay. They often learn things that alter their perceptions or refine their thinking in the process. Their desire to communicate means that they can’t wait to share what they have learnt with their online community, and hopefully enlighten others. They are as willing to learn as they are to teach, and welcome divergent views.

The technical aspects to blogging, the template you use, the site design, the plug-ins you choose (if you choose any at all) are never mentioned when considering the success of a blog. Of course the way your blog looks and feels are important, but they are not nearly as important as the character with which you infuse your blog. When it comes to blogging, personality counts for more than looks.

    Post Regularly Because...

    Publicado

    by: Len Hutton

Keeping people interested in your blog, whether it is a business or personal blog, is key to attracting a lot of regular visitors. Many blogs have died because people have just lost interest. The main reason for the lack of interest is simply a lack of posts by the blogger. Regular, frequent posting, which will boost your blog’s ranking in search engines, is essential to the survival of any blog.

You might be asking yourself, what is frequent posting? How many blog entries should I make on a given week? How do I make frequent consistently good posts? What are the reasons for me to post frequently? In this newsletter, we will go over all of the above.

    What is frequent posting?

Frequent blog posting is posting enough to keep your readers interested. Obviously, people will not want to come back to a blog that hasn’t been updated in months. They want to see consistent posting so that they know coming back to check the blog next week to see if there are more posts won’t be a waste of time.

How many blog entries should I make each week?

This is one of the tougher questions to answer. It really depends on the purpose of your blog. If it’s a personal blog, a weekly or twice weekly update is an excellent idea. A political/sports/music/religion blog should have 3-4 posts per week. Business blogs should have at least 2 posts, but preferably 4 each week.

The thing to remember is that quality counts. Posting frequently just for the sake of posting frequently tends to result in subpar posts which people won’t care about. It is important to find a balance—frequent, quality posts that won’t result in burnout on your part. Why create 4 poor quality posts each week when you could post 2 quality posts per week?

How do I create quality postings on a consistent basis?

It’s all about following a consistent pattern of writing. Maybe you’re not a natural writer and this is difficult. That’s why we’ll give you an outline to help you.

    1. Pick a topic that is interesting to you and to your readers. Maybe if your blog is a personal blog, you could write about the latest happenings in Hollywood.

    2. Carefully think about what you’ll write about the topic. It makes it easy to make quality blog postings if you know exactly what you’ll write. Plot out everything about the post before even beginning to write it.

    3. Before writing your content, pick out some keywords that are relevant to your blog. If you naturally use keywords throughout your post, you will please search engine spiders which will get your blog ranked higher on search engines. Your visitors won’t mind the use of keywords if they are used in a tasteful way.

    4. Begin writing your post. Don’t limit yourself to a particular amount of words. Just do what’s natural. And if any blog post is hard for you, just take a timeout and relax. You should be able to finish the post a bit later on, after you’ve had some time to think things through, you should be able to finish the post with no problems.

    Why is frequent posting important?

Blogs are meant to be outlets for individuals or businesses. They are used to get an opinion out on something and to engage readers. Readers need to have something that makes them want to keep coming back to a blog. That something is usually quality, frequent posts.

Gaining and maintaining visitors isn’t the only reason to post often in your blog. Catching the eye of a search engine—and achieving a high ranking—is another valid reason for posting frequently. Most likely, each posting in your blog features some keywords or keyword phrases scattered throughout it. Logic says that the more natural keywords you have on a blog, the better. Thus, the more posts you make on your blog, the more keywords you have on there. And the more keywords you have, the more likely a search engine bot is to crawl your site. The more your site is crawled by bots, the more likely it is that you will have a high ranking on a search engine.

Frequent blog posting can be easy as long as the person who is posting takes the time to plot out what they’ll write about. So take a few minutes to think about your post and then just do it!

    FREE TIPS FOR BEGINNING BLOGGERS!

Many beginning bloggers make good money at home, but many are unaware that you can make major money from blogging. People make $1,000 a month by blogging part-time without even a web site! To make more money from blogging you need good tools and a few free tips for beginning bloggers from people who already found out what works and what doesn't.

Let's start by busting a few key myths about blogging.

Myth Number One: "Making money in your spare time is easy."

Busted! Don't even go there. Do you honestly know anybody who has spare time? Get real! True, there are hundreds of thousands of professional bloggers making full-time incomes blogging part-time, but almost all of them carved time out of burdened schedules with a chainsaw when they first started.

Myth Number Two: "Nothing beats blogging from the comfort of your home."

Busted! Most homes are hives of activity. Unfinished projects want attention and compete for your "spare" time. Laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning. Even grout wants attention. Temptation lurks all around your home. The remote calls from the sofa. That book you bought begs to be read. An innocent cup of tea can become your worst enemy. And when you are all blogged out, which can and does happen, anything beats blogging from the comfort of your home!

Myth Number Three: "It's easy. You can use the same stuff on six different sites."

Busted! Nothing that pays well is easy. Most of us had to crack the books in high school to get a passing grade. People who got straight A's without hard work were few and far between. We talked about them like they were circus freaks. "Geeks" were originally side show freaks who bit the heads off live chickens. And you can't reuse the same stuff over and over because different sites have different rules and different audiences.

Which is not to say don't expect to make money, even really good money, blogging. Expect to invest time learning the ropes. Expect to prime the pump, but not with money because one of the beautiful things about blogging is it costs almost nothing to get started. So prime the pump first, then expect to make money!

    Publicado

    By Court Tuttle

As a new blog owner, more than likely you are trying to come up with ways of building the strength and reputation of your blog site so that you will ultimately be able to make money on the Internet. Regulating your own blog can be a difficult process and even more overwhelming when you are trying to turn it into one of the biggest blog sites on the Internet.

The first thing that you need to do is to determine what kind of an audience that you will be trying to attract to your blog site. This all depends on what specific niche of the Internet that you choose to join and involve your blog with. Picking a specific niche will increase your chances of targeting a group of online visitors that will be interested in using your published content and therefore increase the growth of your blog site.

Once you have decided on a specific audience to target, the next step is to start writing and publishing articles that relate to your chosen topic and online niche. The first article that you write must be carefully scripted and published with many attractive features that will grasp the attention of many online visitors. When you have finally written your very first article and published it on the blog, then you will begin to grow your blog and make money on the Internet.

As you continue to write articles and place them on your blog site, you need to remember to make them very informational and not so opinionated. Everyone likes to express their opinions and provide feedback, but that is what your visitors are going to do when they read the articles. You need to concentrate on providing new and interesting information that includes fun facts, exciting graphics, and thought provoking insights.

Indeed, the writing is very important to a blog sites growth, but the second part of this important aspect is the consistency of your writing. You should renew the articles on your blogs front page at least every week or so because people are always looking for new information. The publication of many articles on your blog site will create a library of information and increase the number of people that come to learn and grow.

You need to also advertise your blogs positive points on other blog sites that are very popular and maintain a high rate of Internet traffic. One great way of doing this is by becoming friends with many other blog owners in your specific Internet niche. As you establish these friendships, you will be able to place posts and ads on other blogs so that your own blog site will grow.

Another great way to advertise for your blog site is by making comments about other peoples articles. If you provide valuable feedback and opinions, then people will want to visit your blog site to see what other kinds of valuable information that you are offering.

Create Blogs: Make money from writing

What's the perfect job? How about a job where you are your own boss, you set your own hours, work right from home, never have to deal with unreasonable deadlines and get to do something you love doing? Sound good? Well that's the job description of a blogger. That, however, is the not the whole story! There are very, very few bloggers who have nothing else to do but work on their blog and even fewer who have a blog that provides a decent source of income so blogging is, for most, a second or even a third "job."

There are two basic types of bloggers, the casual blogger and the serious blogger.

The casual blogger may have a basically well balanced life and a blog that is primarily a hobby. The casual blogger will start writing a post, work at it for awhile and then stop to get some other things done until he or she feels like writing again. If a finished post doesn't get many comments, that's OK; the post expressed just what the casual blogger wanted to say and its out there if anyone is interested.

The serious blogger's situation is quite different from the casual blogger's. The serious blogger has a blog that he or she considers to be a job -- a job that may be competing with other important elements of life such as a primary job, a family, a social life and adequate rest. The serious blogger is committed (almost to the point of an obsession) to maintaining his or her blog and feels it is an essential element of daily life. The serious blogger feels dejected if any post sits on the blog for twenty-four hours or so without generating a comment or if the blog's "hit counter" does not register a certain number of visitors every day. That kind of commitment to blogging may take a big hunk of time out of the day and can easily create some serious conflicts between blogging and the rest of life -- to avoid this, the serious blogger needs to be organized and efficient.

Time management for the serious blogger! Anyone who feels that the day is too short needs to understand and implement the basic principle of time management: setting priorities. Some things are obviously more important than other things but some important things may be left undone unless you are controlling your schedule and not having random events control you. You need to set priorities and live by them.

Make a priority list! To begin setting priorities, make a list of everything you need to get done -- everything including things you've committed to doing, things you want to do, things you know you should do and things that you really don't want to do but are on your mind. Be honest and put everything on the list -- take a couple hours or more to put it together if you need that much time, it will be time well spent because you are about to get organized.

Important: You will be using and modifying this list every day so create the list using some program that will allow you to move list items around, add items, remove items and save the list. Just notepad or your word processing program will do nicely but there are other more specialized programs available -- they may even be free, check out: Tucows at tucows. com.

Categorize! Now carefully consider each item on the list and put each one into one of the following five categories.

Must get it done today Must get it done this week Nice to do and might be beneficial Nice to do but not really necessary Unnecessary

Now you have a decent priority list. Start every day with this list and every time you become aware of a new task add it in a proper place to the proper category. As the "must do" items are accomplished and moved off the list, some of the nice-to-do items may be moved up, but only if their priorities can honestly be changed.

Too many must-do things! If the list of items in the two "Must get it done . . . " categories is overwhelming, reconsider each item's importance and re-prioritize if you can, if not select the items that you really don't have to do yourself, things like fix-it projects, business phone calls, business letters, editing and proofreading jobs, etc. -- some of these things may be able to be done just as well by someone else. Find a friend, family member, co-worker or a freelancer to do it for you.
